Full Description

1959: During alterations to the premises of Masons Motor Factors, Ipswich ware pottery, including the greater part of a large pot with decoration of grooves and vertical burnishing, a rim with internal flange decorated with square stamps, a peaked lug and one waster, was found 6 1/2 feet down in a pit cut into the natural gravel (S4).

1968: Anglo-Saxon and Medieval. Pottery including Ipswich Ware and Medieval found during building operations (S3).
