Full Description

Finds scatter (including metal detector finds) of a limestone spindle whorl with incised radiating lines and cross-hatching filling alternate panels (Med?). Also a bronze heraldic stud, probably simplified arms of de Bohun family. A similar stud has been found in Bury St Edmunds and pendant with similar simplified arms was found at Bramford. Also a 'Boy Bishop' token, groat size. Nine sherds of Med coarse ware were also found, mainly early (C12 through to C14 - 1 body sherd could be Thetford type). Details in (S1).
