Full Description
1986: Metal detector find by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) 'from the Stuston cropmark….from the southe end of the field', from mainly Rom site include plain blade end of palstave (?) with severe invasive corrosion, circa 9.3cms surviving length, blade width circa 4.9cms (from photo). Unsplayed blade suggests little use/resharpening. Photo in file (S1).
Is this the same as 'a Bronze Age flat axe' found 'at this time' (1979-1980) by metal detector (S2).
Also Un, IA, Rom, Neo and Sax.
