2004: Dirk or short rapier with notched hilt and narrow flat mid rib blade. Found metal detecting in two (joining) parts on long standing pastureland adjoining river Waveney.

Full Description

2004: Dirk or short rapier with notched hilt and narrow flat mid rib blade. Found metal detecting in two (joining) parts (recentish break) but tip still missing (old break). Long standing pastureland adjoining river Waveney. Findspot circa (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) probably deep peat. Found 8" - 9" deep, probably deriving from ditching upcast.
