Full Description

WWI pillbox in Alderton in good condition.
Single-storey, circular plan, flat concrete roof, carried on corrugated steel sheets supported by two steel joists. Small double- armoured doors close a low entrance. 4 wide splay embrasures staggered in height. Pillbox raised up on bank to allow fire over hedge to E.
