Full Description

Three chalk-lump farm buildings were subject to conversion and other outbuildings were demolished in advance of redevelopment. The farm appears to originate in a single phase of construction in the 17th/18th century, with some elements possibly coming from earlier structures. Local knowledge referred to the site as Churchgate Farm, suggesting a possible historic link to the Church (S1).

Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2008 (S2).
