Full Description
Monitoring of footings at the rear of 9 Chapelside, Long Melford, revealed a Roman pit of first to second century date and a small area of modern activity, almost certainly relating to the construction of an extension (S1).
Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2008 (S2).
