Full Description

Large E-W bank earthwork c.1m high x 8m wide, continuing to east, marked on 1884 map (S1) - associated with Warrener's lodge BRD 093?
Previously recorded as part of BRD 093.

August 2017. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A linear bank, which probably corresponds to the one described above, is visible as a fragmentary earthwork on imagery from a recent lidar survey (S2). It has not been mapped, as it is depicted as a boundary on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition 6 inch map (S3). The polygon defining the site, however, has been amended to correct its location and take in the full length of the bank as visible on the lidar.
