Full Description
An archaeological evaluation carried out on land at Alexandra House identified three ditches of probable Iron Age date and a post-medieval hedgeline. Two sherds of pottery found within natural cracks in the chalk geology and a third, stratified sherd, dated these features to the Iron Age (S1).
