Full Description

Monitoring identified a continuation of the late Iron Age and early Roman settlement and a late medieval / early post-medieval burial (S1).
Radiocarbon date of human bone (SUERC-30791 (GU-22100)): 1460-1650 CalAD (95.4% probability). Contamination suspected (pers comm C Tester) (S2).

Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2009 (S3).
