Summary

A wood-lined well 3 feet square was found during construction. It was of a depth of 11 feet with sherds of Thetford ware, 2 boars' tusks and a horn core.

Full Description

1964: A wood-lined well 3 feet square was found during construction. It was of a depth of 11 feet with sherds of Thetford ware, 2 boars' tusks and a horn core (S1). Also a human skull (S2-S4).
