Full Description
Ennals Farm is a farmstead visible on the 1st Ed Os map. The farmstead is laid out in a linear plan with additoinal detached elements. The farmhouse is detached and set side on to the yard. The farmstead sits alongside a public road in an isolated location. Only the farmhouse remains with modern sheds to the side. (S2-5)
16th C timber-framed and plastered farmhouse with a tiled roof; the upper storey is jettied at the front. A single storey extension, a lobby entrance and a new chimneystack were added in the 17th C. The farmhouse is adjacent to a medieval moat (HTC 032). (S1).
