Full Description

Evaluation encountered four phases of activity on the 5ha site. A number of post-medieval and modern ditches and gullies were identified, almost certainly representing former field boundaries.
Also series of mainly Med and Post Med metal detector finds (recorded in PAS) found in towards S end of spoil left on NE edge of field following evaluation but prior to excavation (S1).
