Indicative area of the historic settlement core of Eriswell St Laurence, in Domesday as Coclesworth, defined from historic maps, the locations of listed buildings and artefact scatters (S1, S2, S3).

2015:Geophysical Survey appears to demonstrate that the medieval settlement extends further to the norththan previuosly thought (S5).
