Five Cross Ways, Church Walks, Sudbourne. Trench and mound anti-glider obstacle. [Plotted from aerial photographs].
December 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The Second World War anti landing trenches described above, and in (S1)-(S2), are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (S3)-(S5). A slit trench and possible barbed wire barriers are also visible, as an earthwork and structures. All elements of the site appear to have been levelled.
