Second World War anti landing trenches, a slit trench and possible barbed wire barriers are visible as earthworks and structures on aerial photographs. They have since been levelled.

Five Cross Ways, Church Walks, Sudbourne. Trench and mound anti-glider obstacle. [Plotted from aerial photographs].
December 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The Second World War anti landing trenches described above, and in (S1)-(S2), are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (S3)-(S5). A slit trench and possible barbed wire barriers are also visible, as an earthwork and structures. All elements of the site appear to have been levelled.
