Full Description

Scatter of pottery and metalwork. Pottery collected by fieldwalking, Rom sherds concentration at grid reference. Includes samian, colour coated beaker cornice rim (? Colchester type fabric) and grey wares some in a high sand fabric. Bronze bracelet with snakehead terminals (S1).
Metal detector finds: large Colchester derivative brooch, also coins - Vespasian, Domitian, Nerva, M Aurelius, Septimus Severus, Claudius II and Constantinian; fragment of hinged bow brooch, bronze lock bolt and bronze boss with human head decoration, native style, ? Rom (S2).
Further finds including group of Colchester derivative hinged pin brooches from (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), coins up to Valentinian but with above average number of C1-C2, seal box, Aesica type brooch (S3).

Further Colchester derivative and trumpet type brooches (S5).
