Full Description
A small archaeological excavation revealed a post-medieval ditch-and-hedge, running north-south parallel to the modern A134, as well a series of inter-cutting chalk quarry pits, probably Victorian in date. There is one other possible ditch, running east-west, although it could also be a natural gully (S1). Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2014 (S2).
