Little Haugh Manor was held by the de Dammartins in the time of Henry I and by Roger Bigod in 1229. Later was held by Ashfield, Mileson, Edgar, Marco, Stainforth, Braddoch and Huddlestone families. The current building is believed to have been re-built by Cox Macro, circa 1734. The painted Tillemans left works in the hall and died there in 1734. The previous site may be located to the east around the area of the moat (See NRN 011) (S1).
Also small landscape park which includes mound (NRN 001), serpentine lake and bridge (NRN 012) and former dovecote (NRN 010).
