Monitoring was undertaken during the excavation of nineteen 3 x 3 m trenches along the route of the proposed A14 link road. No archaeological features or finds were encountered (S2).

An AP assessment was undertaken for a 200m strip alongside the A14 to accurately map archaeological and natural features in advance of proposals to improve the road. A number of features were located and mapped including SNH 001, SNH 005, TYN 012, TYN 029, TYN 54, TYN 065, TYN 066, TYN 067, TYN 105 (S3).
