Full Description

December 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
A possible trapezoidal enclosure of unknown date is visible as fragmentary cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1), together with a rectilinear arrangement of two ditches. The enclosure and ditches are not necessarily contemporary, but they do share the same orientation. Other rectilinear and polygonal cropmarks visible in the southern corner of the field are of geological origin; the mapped features are more regular, but a geological origin for these too cannot be ruled out entirely.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 3rd December 2015.
