Full Description
January 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks of field boundaries and possible enclosures of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs (S1) to the east of Walkbarn Farm. The site is centred on TM 4548 6844. The cropmarks are likely to relate to more than one phase, and some may date to medieval to post medieval period, given the shared alignment with surrounding fields. Other elements would appear to be earlier. A light-coloured linear running diagonally to these features was dismissed as related to recent activity.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 2nd January 2015.
