Summary

The cropmarks of a possible ring ditch of uncertain date are visible on aerial photographs to east of a group of cropmark enclosures and pits (WLN 001). The date and archaeological significance of this ring ditch is not known. Similarly sized circular features were recorded as part of the adjacent World War Two site (WLN 037), however it may relate to a circular feature or small structure associated with the enclosures.

The cropmarks of a possible ring ditch of uncertain date are visible on aerial photographs (S1) to east of a group of cropmark enclosures and pits (WLN 001). The date and archaeological significance of this ring ditch is not known. Similarly sized circular features were recorded as part of the adjacent World War Two site (WLN 037), however it may relate to a circular feature or small structure associated with the enclosures.
