Full Description
February 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks of fragmentary and multi-phase field boundaries and enclosures are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3).
The site also includes parchmarks suggesting a possible embanked or compacted route into the field (note the proximity of the medieval embanked causeway leading to Leiston Abbey (LCS 144). Although it is possible that it relates to a more recent farm access route.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 27th February 2015.
