Full Description
February 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks of fragmentary and multi-phase ditches and enclosures are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3). The site consists of at least two phases, potentially including Roman and medieval to post medieval features, some of which are likely to be related to those features recorded under LCS 189 and LCS 032.
A significant amount of Roman activity and industry is recorded in the area indicate Roman activity (for example LCS 035, LCS 032/MSF21534 & LCS 134). Some of the cropmarks were previously recorded under LCS Misc/ MSF21548.
