Full Description
Late C4 coin hoard (500 bronze coins examined at BM, possibly originally more) recovered from sand pit near the church. Date range late C3-C4, mostly Theodosius I, Arcadius, Honorius. (? deposition circa AD 400) (R1). Said to have been found with remains of a wooden casket plated with bone (R1).
Some finds possibly at Southwold Museum (note by I Moore).
