Monument record EKE 032 - Cropmarks of fragmentary and multi-phase ditches and field boundaries

Please read our .

Summary

An area of fragmentary and multi-phase cropmarks is visible on aerial photographs. The site consists of multiple phases of ditches, potentially relating to field boundaries, trackways and possible fragmentary enclosures, some of which may be Roman in date (finds in the area suggest Roman activity (EKE 021)). Some components may also represent an extension of EYE 031 to the northeast. However given the alignment some of these ditches are likely to relate to medieval to post medieval boundaries
