Full Description

July 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The site of a group of curving and regular shaped medieval to post medieval field boundaries is visible on aerial photographs (S1), but the majority have not been mapped as they are partially depicted on the Ordnance Survey First Edition map (S2). Given the amount of Saxon activity in this area, a Saxon origination of some of these curving boundaries is feasible.
