Full Description

1974: Possible sleeper beam and two postholes of Middle Saxon age,

Fragments of Tudor brick from foundations of Cardinal Wolsey's College. Footing made of flint, septaria, and ashlar, probably re-used from St. Peter's and St. Paul's Priory.

Badly robbed remains of corner turret and fragments of precinct wall of the Priory.

1983: Excavations for storm water relief pipe yielded one rim of Thetford Ware.

Previously part of IPS 274.
