Full Description
February 2016. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks of multiple phases of fragmentary field systems, trackways and possible enclosures are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S5). The date of these features is likely to be late prehistoric and Roman in date, although some elements may be medieval or later. Parts of the ditch systems appear to continue into ADT 003 and ADT 099. Some of these cropmarks were previously recorded under ADT 004 and ADT 035.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 16th February 2016.
