Full Description
February 2016. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks of probable Second World War trenches are visible on aerial photographs (S1). The fact that they are showing as cropmarks in 1945 would suggest they date to relatively early in Second World War or potentially that they relate to First World War activity.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 16th February 2016.
