Full Description
2016: Evaluation revealed a post medieval ditch likely to be 19th century date, running east-north-east. This ditch also corresponds with the 1880s OS map. Several large pieces of 19th century blue and white transfer-printed pottery were recovered from the fill of the ditch. Other finds include a small sherd of porcelain, two pieces of ceramic building material likely to be peg-tile, and a fragment of clear bottle glass (S1).
