Full Description

A fairly large number of features, many of which appear to be related to Roman settlement activity, particularly in the vicinity of Trenches 145–148. Features include a storage-type pit and a possible hearth. Ditches defining a possible Iron Age routeway were revealed within Trench 150. Medieval
boundaries were revealed within Trench 142 and an undated gully defining a possible building footprint was revealed within Trench 141.
