Full Description
2017: Excavation revealed the remains of middle-late Iron Age occupation. Evidence consisted of pits, postholes and a partial ring ditch. The ring ditch possibly represents the remains of a roundhouse. A small 4 post structure was identified near to the possible roundhouse and might represent a small animal pen or storage structure. A large amount of features are undated inlcuding ditches, pits and post holes. Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2017 (S1). (S2)
