Monument record BEG 060 - Prehistoric Pit, and Late Saxon to Medieval Colluvium layer and features and post medieval/undated diched field boundaries at East Anglia One Area 24

The principal result of the excavation was the discovery of a limited quantity of archaeological features, belonging to three main phases ranging from the Late Neolithic-Early Bronze Age to the post-medieval period. The prehistoric evidence was limited to a single isolated pit, whereas the later evidence mainly comprised ditched field boundaries and a layer of late Saxon to early medieval colluvium in a small valley. The majority of the features identified could not be dated due to the general lack of finds recovered (S1)
