Full Description

`Yarmouth, 26th Dec...The BELL, Cooke, from Shields to London, ran on the Ridge yesterday, and though immediately assisted, sunk and became a wreck: the materials will be saved.' (1)

`Lowestoffe, 2d Jan...Last night the wreck of the BELL collier, drifted off the Newcomb, ran foul of the Floating Light, and drove from her moorings. She is now about a mile to the northward of her birth [sic].' (2)

`On the 25th ult. the BELL, Cooke, of and from South Shields, with coals, for London, was totally lost on the Ridge, near Yarmouth; crew saved.' (3)
