Full Description

Cropmarks of a possible large irregular sub-rectangular enclosure of uncertain date visible on aerial photographs in a large field to the north-west of Erratt's Farm at TL 7163 5518. The partial enclosure can be seen as two perpendicular ditched sides with two rounded courners and part of a third side. It lies in a large arable field with the cropmark traces of more modern cultivation patterns, former field boundaries noted on the 1st edition OS maps and modern drainage (S1).
