Full Description

Scatter of mainly grey ware sherds, ? C1-C3, some highly micaceous. One samian rim fragment, ? form 18 or 31; two colour coated sherds, ? C2-C3; one floor tile fragment and two possible Rom tile fragments; one very overfired clay fragment, almost vitrified, ? from a furnace of some type. The scatter extends slightly into the fields to the S and W (S1).
