1772 wreck of English collier which stranded at Easton while in ballast; a wooden sailing vessel.

'Yarmouth, Jan.22: On Thursday morning last, in a hard gale of wind, the following ships were lost, or stranded, on the coasts of Norfolk and Suffolk...A light collier, belonging to Whitby, lost at Easton by Southwold. People saved.' (1)
