Full Description

1840 wreck of English snow which foundered after grounding on the Barnard Sand. Constructed of wood, she was a sailing vessel.

The JOSEPH MIDDLETON, Davison, brig, of Sunderland, sank on the Barnard Sand on 22-NOV-1840 with the loss of the crew. (1)
