1840 wreck of British craft which stranded on the Barnard Sand, en route from Sunderland to Chatham; a wooden sailing vessel.
Status: Casualty
The HOPE, Smart, from Sunderland to Chatham, was wrecked on the Barnard Sand on 16-NOV-1840; crew saved. (1)
