Full Description
1814 wreck of British cargo vessel which stranded at or near Lowestoft en route from Aldeburgh to Kingston-upon-Hull with ships' stores; a wooden sailing vessel.
Status: Casualty
`The following vessels were wrecked on Saturday night last, at or near Lowestoffe, viz. PROVIDENCE...INDUSTRY, Armitage, from Aldbro' to Hull, with ships' stores, crew saved; and AMPHION...' (1)
