Full Description
1944: Beaker sherds and worked flints. Clay loom weight fragments. Found in the sand in a gully near the river bank, South of the bathing pool, in 1944. Few small beaker sherds with impressed ornament.
1946: Iron age pottery sherd scatter. Basil Brown investigated area of Piper's Vale known as Brazier's Wood and collected Iron Age pottery sherds in 1946.
