Full Description

Geophysical survey identified anomalies of a A possible Romano-British farmstead and related agricultural and domestic activity to the north of Yoxford Road. This appears to have accumulated around the site os a possible possible prehistoric roundhouse. Further anomalies of a Later medieval land use can be seen in the form of ridge and furrow cultivation, as well as evidence of larger field systems. Post-medieval mapped field boundaries and ponds were also identified (S1).
