Full Description
1996: During the monitoring of replacement drains in Crown Street a possible ditch was identified around the junction of Crown Street and Honey Hill. This substantial feature contained Medieval pottery and extended for 3.5m. It has been intepreted as possibly part of the Abbey precinct ditch or the medieval precursor to Crown Street. (S1)
