Full Description
Spread of burnt flint & charcoal, circa 15 yards across, 1 foot thick in centre, under 3 feet 6 inches of clayey silt, immediately on top of glacial gravel. Visible in side of drainage ditch (S1)(S2). Grid reference not on edge of drainage ditch - probably should be slightly E at TM 0834 5291?
