Full Description

Deserted Medieval village site, road, crofts, ponds. N & E of church (BRL 003)(S1).
September 1990: Area extended further E and S following survey in 1985/1986. For plan of earthworks and details of finds, including concentrations of C11- C14 pottery, see (S2). Southernmost meadow possibly leet system(?)(S3). Southernmost meadow possibly leet system(?)(S3). Area includes possible moat, BRL 004 & mound BRL 020.
