Full Description
Anglo Saxon and Ipswich ware pottery sherds, possible occupation of site. Timber slots etc pre-dating moat mound together with Thetford, St Neots and Pingsdorf wares indicated definite occupation during Late Saxon period prior to construction of moat mound (S1).
