Full Description
Much black earth, two hearths and "hut sites" thought to be IA, found and cleared in April 1948 by Basil Brown and K Landymore on a field behind the garden of his house in Honeypot Lane. Much burnt flint, pot boilers, found (S1)(S2)(R1).
SAU, HER card says Rom pottery sherds in this area but Basil Brown's records do not show this (S2).
