Full Description

Site of chapel - mentioned C15-C16 (S1)(R1). Located at TM 1456 3774 and TM 1456 3773 by OS (S1) and to TM 1456 3775 on original HER card compiled by SEW. Field named Little Chapel field, adjoining Great Chapel field on Tithe Map (S4).
Sherds, glazed floor tile fragment and fragment of lava quern found in restricted area around chapel site in 1969 (S1)(S2).
