Full Description
Stone axe hammer found while ploughing. Maximum length 7 1/4 inches, maximum width 4 1/4 inches. Perforated. Heavy signs of wear (axe end blunted, hammer end abraded, perforation worn smooth). Sliced 1971 S87 greenstone. Given by D Cole, Valley Farm, Peasenhall, Saxmundham through F J Pearson, Browses, Sibton, Saxmundham (S1).
